These Terms of Service govern access to and use of TacticalDice, including any related websites, applications, APIs, and services operated by TacticalDice.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
TacticalDice provides digital tools and services related to dice rolling, game utilities, APIs, and experimental features intended for tabletop and roleplaying games. Certain features may be in active development or public playtesting.
The Service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the Service under applicable law. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service responsibly and in good faith.
You may not use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate others
- Promote violence, hate, or discrimination
- Engage in illegal activity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data
- Disrupt, degrade, or interfere with the operation of the Service
- Circumvent security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions
- Distribute malware or exploit software vulnerabilities
- Use the Service for surveillance, fraud, or deceptive practices
TacticalDice reserves the right to determine whether conduct violates these Terms.
4. Abuse and Fair Use
You may not misuse the Service through excessive automated requests, scraping, reverse engineering, or any activity that places unreasonable load on the Service.
Unauthorized commercial use of the Service is prohibited unless expressly permitted in writing.
5. Accounts and Access
If accounts are required now or in the future:
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your access credentials
- You are responsible for all activity associated with your access
- TacticalDice may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service
TacticalDice is not obligated to provide advance notice of suspension or termination.
6. User Content and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any content you generate, submit, or share using the Service.
TacticalDice does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for user generated content and is not liable for any outcomes, interpretations, or consequences arising from its use.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, artwork, characters, documentation, and materials provided by TacticalDice are the property of TacticalDice or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the Service or its content without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of your original content, subject to any licenses reasonably required to operate and maintain the Service.
8. Privacy and Data Use
Use of the Service is also governed by the TacticalDice Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- TacticalDice may collect and process limited information necessary to operate and secure the Service
- Technical data such as IP addresses, request metadata, and usage patterns may be logged for security, reliability, and abuse prevention
- TacticalDice does not sell personal information

9. Randomness and Probability Disclaimer
The Service includes features that generate randomized, probabilistic, or pseudo random outputs, including but not limited to dice rolls, probability calculations, simulations, and generated results.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Randomized outputs are inherently unpredictable
- Results may vary between identical inputs
- No outcome is guaranteed to be fair, balanced, statistically perfect, or suitable for any specific purpose
- TacticalDice does not guarantee true randomness, cryptographic randomness, or any specific statistical distribution
Outputs should not be relied upon for financial decisions, legal decisions, safety critical systems, or any application where accuracy or fairness is required by law or regulation.
10. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
TacticalDice makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose.
The Service may contain errors, interruptions, bugs, or incorrect outputs.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- TacticalDice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages
- TacticalDice shall not be liable for losses arising from use or inability to use the Service
- TacticalDice shall not be liable for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from Service outputs
If liability is found, it shall not exceed the amount paid for access to the Service, if any, during the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Legal Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations in connection with your use of the Service.
Use of the Service is prohibited where restricted or prohibited by law.
13. Changes to the Terms
TacticalDice may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted publicly.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination
TacticalDice may suspend or terminate access to the Service at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service, users, or legal interests.
15. Arbitration Agreement and Injunctive Relief
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration.
Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association and shall take place in the State of Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
You waive the right to bring claims in court or to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
Exception for Injunctive Relief: Notwithstanding the foregoing, TacticalDice may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent or address actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of its intellectual property rights, confidential information, or proprietary materials. Such relief shall not be deemed incompatible with or a waiver of this arbitration agreement.
This arbitration agreement survives termination of these Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

API Addendum
This API Addendum applies to any use of TacticalDice APIs and supplements the Terms of Service.
A1. API Access
API access may require authentication credentials issued by TacticalDice.
You are responsible for safeguarding API credentials and all activity performed using them.
A2. API Usage Limits
TacticalDice may impose rate limits, quotas, or usage restrictions at its discretion.
You may not:
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass rate limits
- Share API credentials without authorization
- Use the API in a manner that degrades service availability
A3. API Data Usage
API responses are provided for permitted uses only.
You may not:
- Use API data for surveillance or monitoring of individuals
- Resell or redistribute API outputs as a standalone service
- Represent API outputs as authoritative, guaranteed, or error free
A4. API Stability
APIs may change, be deprecated, or be discontinued at any time.
TacticalDice does not guarantee backward compatibility or continued availability of any API endpoint.
A5. Enforcement
Violations of this API Addendum may result in suspension or revocation of API access without notice and may also result in termination under the main Terms of Service.
